Myrrh Resin is a natural incense from the Mediterranean and Arabian peninsula that is harvested from tree sap that is hardened into reddish brown pieces called resin. It is a natural source of fragrance when burned. Historically it has been used for meditation and embalming due to its preservative qualities, as well as a flavoring in drinks.
Directions for use (Not meant for consumption):
Place a piece(s) of the resin in the divot of a pre-lit charcoal disc. The resin should start melting and release a calming, earthy and slightly woodsy aroma. A little goes a long way and the fragrance may fill the room for many hours.
It may also be melted down to combine with other oils in order to make a custom perfume oil.
As with other resins, myrrh may also be used in the creation of varnishes and other paint mediums.
